ROTI – 1H25 net profit declined 50.35% yoy
Nippon Indosari (ROTI) reported a sharp 50.35% yoy drop in net profit to IDR71.8 bn in 1H25. Earnings per share also halved to IDR12.72 from IDR25.36. Revenue also contracted 7.81% yoy to IDR1.77 tn, with 1H24 at IDR1.92 tn, while COGS decreased modestly to IDR852.38 bn from IDR884.77 bn. Gross profit came in at IDR918.65 bn, down 11.65% yoy. Operating expenses slightly declined to IDR854.4 bn from IDR868.51 bn, while other operating income jumped to IDR55.47 bn, and 1H24 at IDR44.96 bn. Meanwhile, other operating expenses narrowed to IDR1.82 bn from IDR2.18 bn, and operating profit fell to IDR117.89 bn, a steep drop from IDR212.85 bn a year ago. Financial income decreased to IDR5.39 bn compared to 1H24 at IDR7.02 bn, while financial expenses rose to IDR29.85 bn from IDR28.45 bn. Income tax on financial income eased to IDR1.07 bn from IDR1.4 bn, with a loss from joint ventures also increased to IDR224.49 bn compared to 1H24 at IDR128.73 mn. As a result, profit for the period tumbled to IDR70.70 bn, almost halving from IDR144.63 bn. On the balance sheet side, total equity fell to IDR1.87 tn from IDR2.3 tn at the end of 2024. Liabilities also climbed to IDR1.79 tn with the 2024 year-end at IDR1.43 tn, while total assets edged down to IDR3.66 tn from IDR3.74 tn. (Source : Emiten News)
